About Our Members

We are a club of more than 200 members who are passionate about cars. The club was founded over 25 years ago by a small group of British sports car owners to share the spirit of collecting, maintaining and driving interesting vehicles.A few key points:

  • Members are mainly from the Midwest and most live within 80 miles of Traverse City (situated on twin bays of Lake Michigan) in Northwestern Lower Michigan.
  • You don't need a British sports car to be part of the fun. Vehicles of all types you'd see at a cars & coffee are represented--including American, British French, German, Italian, Japanese and a handful of others.
  • In fact, all are welcome to club activities focused on fellowship and motorized enjoyment.
  • 2025 TBBCC President Kirt Kilbourne and wife Heather.

2026 FF II Standings After Road Rally #12

The 13th event on the TBBCC 2026 FORMULA FUN II CIRCUIT was a ROAD RALLY through Leelanau, Grand Traverse and Benzie Counties. Twelve vehicles joined the rally, with 23 members present. Event Coordinators Lonnie (with Mike's help) and Trent sent the group on a convoluted tour through the three counties, looking for specific landmarks or items along the way. The tour was around 70 miles long (longer for some of us who got temporarily lost).

The group wound up at Mulligan's Put & Grill at the Crown Golf Course.

The DeBoer's won the grand prize, getting 47 of the 50 questions correct, and were rewarded with lunch on the club. Andy Sarver's son was rewarded dessert on the club for having the closest number of "Curve" signs along the route, and the Kilbourne's won the Poll Position points, gathering an additional 5 Points.

The individual points received at this event, along photos follow.

The Sixth Event for the 2026 FORMULA FUN II CIRCUIT was a POKER RUN held in Traverse City on Sunday, May 31st. A list of 40 Murals painted around the Traverse City area was given to each vehicle. Five were highlighted for each participant as a "must" find. The five were different for each vehicle. A photo was required of each found mural for verification. The number of correct murals was the number of Poker Cards your team was given. The best five cards from this stack were selected as that team's Poker Hand.

The group met for pizzas at Peegeo's for handing out the cards, and for awarding the prizes.

Lee Forton and Breanna found the most murals at 27. The best Poker Hand went to the Googasian's with Five Kings. The McColls were second with Five Jacks, with Lee and Breanna third with Five Tens. The Poll Points were won by the Castiles.

A great time was had by all! The teams visited areas of town probably never seen before. The 40 Murals were part of the 59 Painted Murals around Traverse City.
