1964 JAGUAR SERIES 1 E-TYPE/XKE OS

TBBCC member Paul Mascarenas recently acquired this 1964 Jaguar Series 1 E Type/XKE OS convertible that he may be interested in sellling. Through unexpected circumstances, I recently acquired a very interesting 1964 Jaguar Series 1 E-Type/XKE OTS (convertible). It’s in opalescent dark green with green leather interior and a black top. It’s the 3.8L engine with triple SU carbs and moss transmission. It’s a matching numbers car that was a concours restoration back in the early ‘90s and has taken first place in one of the JCNA judged events. I have trophies with the car. It’s a nice driver now, but needs some work to bring it back to its former glory. Given other projects, I don’t have a plan for the car, so if anyone at the club is interested in learning more, feel free to have them contact me directly. I’ve put a couple of teaser pictures below but would be happy to share more if anyone is interested in a possible purchase. I haven’t put a price on it yet. Chassis number is 880122. Prior ownership was for 23 years and it’s just 3 owners since new (excluding myself). Mileage is believed to be original at ~66,000 but I can’t confirm that. I’m open to a conversation if anyone is really interested in this car. It would be a great show car but needs the right commitment as these cars don’t look after themselves.
